Atrium Health Applies for 42-New Hospital Beds

Atrium Health has submitted a proposal to the State of North Carolina to construct 42 new acute care beds in New Hanover County to serve the region. I am pleased to share their press release on the proposal.

Atrium Health’s application and two others being considered by the State will be the subject of an in person public hearing on August 20. The comment period for email submissions is open through 5PM on July 31. Emails may be sent to DHSR.CON.Comments@dhhs.nc.gov.
