Brunswick Electric's New Time of Use Rates
A Conversation with Brookes Versaggi - Manager, Member Engagement and Communications
Effective November 1 Brunswick Electric (BEMC) will be implementing Time of Use Rates.
According to BEMC’s website, “Under a time-based pricing structure, the cost of electricity varies depending on the time of day it is consumed. Electricity will be less expensive during periods of lower demand (off-peak hours) and more expensive during periods of high demand (peak hours).”
To better understand BEMC’s rate structure and the resources available to help customers reduce their energy use, I met with Brookes Versaggi, Manager of Member Engagement and Communications for BEMC. I’m grateful to Mr. Versaggi for sharing his time and expertise.

Good time to learn how to use the delayed start function on high draw appliances such as dishwasher or clothes dryer and your electric vehicle.
