New Events at Founders Park Announced

2000+ Attend Grand Re-Opening of Park

The Town of Leland has announced new events for Founders Park after the successful grand reopening of the park on July 31. More than 2,000 residents enjoyed the live music, playground, splash pad and numerous vendors that ringed the park for the event.

Performances will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at Founders Park, located at 113 Town Hall Drive.

New Live in Leland events announced include:

• Aug. 13: Departure: The Journey Tribute Band

• Aug. 21: Aesop’s Fables presented by Brunswick Arts Council

• Aug. 27: The British Invaders

• Sept. 3: Dear MariBella and the Pig Kickers
